Werbetexter & Übersetzer

 

Als Werbetexter und Übersetzer arbeite ich gerne kreativ und setze mich mit der Bedeutung der einzelnen Worte, mit ihrem Klang und ihrer Reihenfolge genau auseinander. Den gesamten Text stelle ich wie einen Blumenstrauss zusammen und achte dabei auf die Stimmung und die Situation aus der und für die dieser Text steht.

 

Um Missverständnisse zu vermeiden, weise ich hier darauf hin, dass ich kein Studium und keine offizielle Prüfung als Texter oder Übersetzer abgelegt habe. Wer Kreativität und Liebe zum Wort sucht ist allerdings bei mir richtig.

Working creatively with words is something I enjoy also when I write advertisments or translations. For me it is about playing around with the meaning, the sound, the composition of words. It is like assembling single flowers to form a bouquet. Fitting into and evolving out of the atmosphere and the context in which the text is present.

 

To avoid missunderstandings I clearly wish to state that I do not have a degree or any official paper saying that I am a writer or a translator. Creativity and philology that is what I am into.
